The
Earthquake Rosetm
Quality
Natural Art
As
soon as people began visiting the Earthquake Rose page, we began
receiving requests for prints and suggestions for other things
based on the design left in the sand by the Nisqually Earthquake.
The prints are ready, and we're still in the process of meeting
with the artisans who will be making other items.
If
there is something that you think would be a good idea, but
we're not offering it yet, please click
here to visit our product survey and information page.

We
selected a photograph that was not used on the original
web page when making these prints and cards. We thought
that you would want to have something a bit different,
and this particular photograph caught our eye immediately.
We hope that its symmetry is as special to you as it is
for us.

At
nearly 11.00 AM on February 28, 2001, the Pacific
Northwest was shaken by a magnitude 6.8 earthquake
centered
about 30 miles beneath the earth's surface near
Olympia,
Washington. As the ground began to move, a desktop

the event in a way nobody expected. Deep
within this massive and violent

nature gifted us
a rose.
